The Celtic philosophy recognizes that the eternal and transient world are interwoven, and there is no separation between spirit and nature, Earth and Heaven.

 

Last summer, I was inspired by a nocturnal wonder during a night hike, a vapordance. I wandered through the lake, wading in it, and then I recognized my absolute happiness. I was alone, but I felt connected to myself, or to something, someone. Alas, the soul does exist in the sound of imagination and creativity.

 

John O'Donohue, Irish poet, philosopher and scientist, has a book titled Anam Cara. The book speaks about the Celtic concept of the “soul friend”, loneliness, love and death. 

 

Can anyone write more beautifully about life, death and friendship? The festival received its name from the book, and the artists and music come together to embrace friendship and love.
